Nissan debuts 2002 Xterra, Frontier Crew Cab long bed

Two years after introducing the compact Xterra SUV, Nissan has unveiled a 2002 Xterra and a new Frontier Crew Cab Long Bed, with the longest bed in the compact crew cab truck class. Both feature interior design changes and upgraded audio systems.

The RSC concept was designed by Toyota's CALTY North American design centre in Newport Beach, California. According to CALTY vice president of design, Kevin Hunter, the RSC concept was developed to explore new possibilities for a next-generation sports car, aimed specifically at young new-car buyers.

2002 Dodge Ram unveiled

The 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, unveiled Tuesday at a press preview to the Chicago Auto Show, will be available as a Quad Cab model with four standard doors, while regular-cab and extended-cab models are considerably larger than their predecessors. The new Ram will offer two new engines, a new automatic transmission, upgraded brakes, and new interior features.

Hyundai shows HCD6 mid-engine roadster

Hyundai's newest concept vehicle, the HCD6 mid-engine roadster made its world debut at the Chicago Auto Show. The two-seat roadster, dubbed an affordable exotic, was styled at Hyundai's California Design Studio. The HCD6 features a high-performance 2.7 litre V6 engine, a 6-speed manual transmission and a see-through engine cover.
