Montreal auto show offers first opportunity to see new production and concept vehicles

Montreal, Quebec - Now under way, the 34th Montréal International Auto Show is displaying some 400 vehicles from 34 car manufacturers, many of which have never been seen in Canada before. As the first major auto show on the Canadian auto show calendar, the Montreal auto show is the first opportunity for Canadians to see the latest production and concept vehicles in this country.

Included are 27 new production vehicles: the 2002 Acura NSX-T, 2003 Cadillac CTS, 2002 Daewoo Eagle Magnus and Daewoo Rezzo, 2003 Dodge Viper, 2003 Ford Expedition, 2003 Honda Civic SiR hatchback, 2003 Hummer H2, 2003 Hyundai Tiburon, 2003 Infiniti FX45 crossover wagon and G35 sedan, 2002 Lamborghini Murcielago, 2003 Lexus GS430, 2003 Lincoln Navigator, 2003 Mazda6 and 2002 Mazda MPV, 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante, Eclipse Spyder, Galant, Lancer, and Montero; 2003 Nissan 350Z, 2003 Pontiac Vibe, 2003 Suzuki Aerio, 2003 Toyota Corolla and Matrix, and 2002 VW Jetta.

New concept vehicles on display include the Chrysler Crossfire, Ford 49, Ford Lightning Rod pickup, Jeep Willys2, and Nissan Quest minivan.

For the eighth year in a row, the Chevrolet Venture Childcare Centre is available to children between the ages of two and 10. The service is offered during the Auto Show's opening hours and also provides free lending of strollers to all visitors who request them.

The 34th Montréal International Auto Show at the Olympic Stadium runs from January 25 to February 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (except on Sunday, February 3, when doors will close at 8:00 p.m.).
