Subaru Outback to get Bridgestone tires with raised white letters

Nashville, Tennessee - Bridgestone/Firestone announced today that the Bridgestone Potenza RE92 tire has been selected as the original equipment tire for the Subaru Outback H6-3.0 L.L. Bean Edition, Subaru Outback H6-3.0 Sedan and the Subaru Outback H6-3.0 VDC models. The company is supplying the tire in size P225/60R16 in an H-speed rating.

While the H-speed rated, all-season Bridgestone Potenza RE92 line has been available for some time, this is the only application to feature raised white letters on the sidewall, a feature designed specifically for Subaru.

Bridgestone/Firestone and Subaru have been working together for 24 months tuning this tire for the Outback platform, said Michael Martini, vice president, North American Consumer Original Equipment Sales, Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire, LLC.

The two companies have worked together on OE tire fitments for the past 10 years, Martini added.
