Prices announced for 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe

Mississauga, Ontario - Infiniti, the luxury car division of Nissan Canada, announced its manufacturers suggested retail prices (MSRPs) for the new 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe, which goes on sale in November at Infiniti dealerships nationwide. The two-door G35 coupe joins the four-door G35 sedan which is already on sale.

The 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe will be offered in two fully equipped models, the G35 Sport Coupe model, priced at $45,000, and G35 Sport Coupe 6MT model at $47,000.

Optional on the G35 Sport Coupe is a Performance Package ($1,000) and a Navi Package ($3,400).

The Performance Package features 18-inch alloy wheels, 225/45 WR18 front and 245/45 WR18 rear performance tires, a viscous limited-slip differential and titanium-tinted interior trim.

The Navi Package includes an Infiniti DVD navigation system, 165-mm (6.5-inch) colour monitor with tilt, trip computer and vehicle maintenance information.

Including both packages brings the Sport Coupe's MSRP to $49,400.

The G35 Sport Coupe 6MT model adds a 6-speed, close-ratio manual transmission, the Performance Package and Brembo brakes. Adding the Navi Package brings the 6MT's suggested retail price to $50,400.

Like the G35 Sport Sedan, the G35 Sport Coupe features a standard 3.5-litre DOHC 24-valve V6 engine with aluminum-alloy block and heads and electronically controlled "drive-by-wire" throttle system. The Coupe is equipped with a higher level of engine performance and exhaust tuning than the Sedan, resulting in a horsepower rating of 280 against the Sedan's 260 horsepower. Torque is rated at 270 lb-ft (against the Sedan's 260 lb-ft).
