Detroit, Michigan - Pontiac will offer a preview of the new 2004 Pontiac GTO on the "XXX" Special Edition DVD, available December 31st. The action-packed film, produced by Revolution Studios and released by Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, features Vin Diesel as Xander Cage, a new breed of secret agent who drives a vintage 1967 Pontiac GTO.

Packed with an array of bonus material and added footage, the "XXX" DVD will feature a section titled "The GTO is Back." In this automotive manufacturer industry first, Pontiac plays a prominent role on the special features disc. The content includes a :60 second spot with an exclusive look at the new 2004 GTO, behind the scenes coverage of the movie tie-in with the GTO commentated by Dino Bernacchi, Pontiac advertising manager, and an overview of the new GTO product features by Bob Kraut, Pontiac GTO marketing director.

"When Revolution Studios approached Pontiac with opportunities around the 'XXX' DVD we realized what a dynamic platform it was but wanted to do more than just assist in advertising, we wanted to be integrated partners. We have something powerful to say about the co-star [GTO] in this movie and want to give viewers a sneak peek at the evolution of this historic vehicle," said Bernacchi. "With the movie's global success, it is clear that viewers love the action, love Xander Cage and love his '67 GTO. Now, we are giving viewers even more, an exclusive preview of the new '04 Pontiac GTO coming next year."

The 2004 GTO will go on sale in late 2003.
