Kia Sedona named Best Van by Sport Truck Connection

Irvine, California - Sport Truck Connection Television has announced the winners of its fourth Annual Light Truck and SUV Awards (ALTAS) and has named the Kia Sedona the best van for 2003, it's second consecutive win. The annual ALTAS Awards honor the staff's favourite vehicles, of those they have evaluated over the past year. This year the ALTAS Awards were presented in seven different categories.

The Awards are based upon how the vehicles perform in their intended function and in the way most owners would typically use their vehicles.

"We chose the Kia Sedona as the best minivan because of its excellent ride and handling, generous leg room and interior features, which all add up to a great value package," said Mike Veira, writer for Sport Truck Connection Television.

"We're extremely pleased that Sport Truck Connection Television chose the Sedona as its top van," said Peter M. Butterfield, Kia's executive vice president and COO. "With its 5-star safety rating, great power and numerous standard features, the Sedona is an outstanding value in the family vehicle market."

On the air since 1998, Sport Truck Connection Television airs three times per week on The Outdoor Channel. It is the only weekly television program dedicated solely to the new light truck market and evaluates and airs more reviews of light trucks than anyone else.
