DaimlerChrysler announced that the all-new 2004 Chrysler Pacifica, first shown at the Detroit auto show last month, will be built in DaimlerChrysler Canada's Windsor, Ontario assembly plant - the same plant where Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans are built.

ierre Gagnon, president of Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Inc. announced that the company is ahead of schedule with plans to launch operations in Canada. Vehicles are expected to be available in September of 2002 rather than February of 2003 as originally planned.

Ford of Canada President and CEO, Alain Batty confirmed that the Marauder nameplate will be returning to Canada as a 2003 model. Based on the Grand Marquis with a 300 horsepower V8 engine, the Marauder is expected to reach Ford showrooms in the fall as a 2003 mode

Honda announces new Odyssey rear entertainment system, new Civic Coupe Si Veloz

A new, optional DVD-based Rear Entertainment System is now available in the 2002 Odyssey minivan. The option will only be available on EX models with leather interior models and models with Mesa Beige Metallic, Redrock Pearl or Starlight Silver Metallic exterior colours.
