European Kia concept debuts in Toronto

Toronto - Kia Motors displayed the KCV-1 (Kia Concept Van)as a new fusion-type concept car. Engineered at the Namyang Research and Development Centre in Korea and based on the Carens platform the KCV-1 was designed to address a broad range of customer needs and tastes. As a multi-purpose vehicle, it incorporates the features of a sedan, a wagon and an MPV. The KCV-1 was first introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The aerodynamically designed KCV-1 emphasizes a high-tech look and features high-powered performance and high-end technology. KCV-1 is equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine to meet both European tastes and current market trends.

The KCV-1 is meant to satisfy motorists who appreciate fusion-related culture and easy-to-drive, multi-purpose cars with convenient space applications. The KCV-1's aerodynamic exterior is designed to appeal to the tastes of the European consumer. Situated on large 19-inch alloy wheels and equipped with a height-adjustable suspension, the KCV-1 is adaptable to a wide range of road surfaces, and ensures plenty of ground clearance on rough roads without sacrificing aerodynamic efficiency onsmoother, faster roads.
