Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep to sponsor inaugral Barrett-Jackson auction in Florida

Scottsdale, Arizona - Barrett-Jackson has announced that Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep will be the Title Sponsor for the inaugural Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Classic Car Auction on April 11-13, 2003 in Palm Beach, Florida. The Chrysler Group has been the title sponsor of the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Classic Car Auction since 1995.

"The new auction event in Palm Beach is an exciting opportunity for Barrett-Jackson to expand our presence to the East Coast," said Craig Jackson, president of Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. "We have been exploring an East Coast opportunity for some time to find the correct location, and the right partners, to replicate the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale experience. To have the Chrysler Group come on board as our title sponsor reaffirms the decision to select the Palm Beach location."

The Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Classic Car Auction, in association with Manheim Auto Auctions, will be held at the South Florida Expo Center on the South Florida Fairgrounds. It will feature approximately 400 automobiles that will include vintage, classic, European sports and America muscle cars, along with a selection of street rods and competition cars. The event will also include an expo area of automotive and lifestyle exhibitors. The auction will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 12 & 13, with the Preview Day and Opening Night reception for auction participants on Friday, April 11.

This venue will allow auction visitors to view new vehicles from Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep, as well as the opportunity for consumer test drives on site.
