Subaru introduces turbocharged Baja with 210 horsepower

New York, New York - Subaru introduced a turbocharged version of the Baja four-door pickup powered by a 210-horsepower 2.5-litre intercooled turbo boxer engine. The Baja Turbo is the third new turbocharged model that Subaru has introduced for 2004 model year: Forester 2.5 XT was introduced at the Chicago Auto Show, and the 300-horsepower Impreza WRX STi at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January.

The Baja is based on the Legacy/Outback platform, and has a folding divider between the box and the passenger compartment.
