Toyota/Lexus vehicles appear in "Terminator 3"

Torrance, California - In a deal with Warner Bros. pictures, Toyota and Lexus supplied a Toyota Tundra pickup truck and the Lexus SC 430 hardtop convertible for the top characters to drive during dramatic chase scenes in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines".

Behind the wheel of the Toyota Tundra is Arnold Schwarzenegger (the "Terminator"), Claire Danes ("Kate Brewster") and Nick Stahl ("John Connor") in the movie's most exciting chase scene.

The Lexus SC 430 is put into action early in the movie when audiences are introduced to Kristanna Loken, who plays the villainous Terminatrix.

Deborah Wahl Meyer, Toyota corporate marketing communications manager said, "We're also capturing that image and bringing it to our dealer showrooms with a special-edition Terminator 3 (T3) model."

The Tundra T3 models are available in dealerships now and feature unique interior and exterior-enhancements such as a full-colour-keyed appearance package including a custom grille, T3 badging and graphics, fog lamps and 17-inch magnesium-toned alloy wheels. The interior features distinctive Dark Charcoal perforated leather seats, and metallic-appearance interior trim on the dash.

Performance enhancements in the T3 Special Edition include a sport suspension with Tokico shocks, a limited slip differential, heavy-duty stabilizer bar and a Toyota Racing Development (TRD) dual exit exhaust.

The Tundra T3 Special Edition package is offered on Tundra SR5 Access Cab 4X2 models in two exterior colours, Black and Imperial Jade Mica.
