2004 Greater Los Angeles Auto Show
Two new versions of the Mazda6 were unveiled at the L.A. auto show this week: the new Mazda6 Sport Wagon and 5-Door hatchback models. The new turbocharged Mazdaspeed Miata was also shown to the North American public for the first time.
December 30, 2003 Following closely on the heels of the X5's facelift, BMW introduced a new X5 4.8is with a bigger version of the 4.4-litre engine featured in the X5 4.4i.
The 2004 Acura TL A-Spec concept made its debut at the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show. While the production TL features a wide stance, the Concept TL's track has been widened by nearly two inches.
December 30, 2003 The 2005 Ford GT, a supercar modeled on the race-winning GT40 of the 60's, will have a U.S. manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $139,995 when it goes into production in early summer 2004.
It's been a long time coming, but GM has finally unveiled its replacement for the Chevrolet Cavalier compact sedan and coupe, a perennial best-seller in Canada. The 2005 Cobalt is a little shorter and narrower than the current Cavalier, but offers a higher seating position, a quieter cabin, more rigid platform, and a couple of new engine options including a supercharged engine.
December 10, 2003 The widely-acclaimed BMW 330i Performance Package, originally introduced on the 330i Sedan in January 2003, will make its debut on the 2004 330Ci Coupe and Convertible at the Los Angeles International Auto Show on December 29th, 2003.
December 9, 2003 The first Saab 9-2X models will go on sale in the U.S. and Canada July 1, 2004, said the company on Monday. The 9-2X is based on the all-wheel-drive Subaru Impreza.
GM unveiled a couple of SUV-like minivans on Thursday: the Buick Terraza and Saturn Relay.
