Collisions rise when clocks spring ahead

Ottawa, Ontario – Transport Canada warns drivers to take extra care this coming Monday, April 4th. There is an increase of about seven per cent in traffic accident rates on the Monday following the shift to Daylight Saving Time in the spring.
