On certain vehicles equipped with an advanced airbag feature, the Occupant Classification System (OCS) installed in the right front seat may misclassify a child restraint seat as an adult. On certain vehicles, the cup plug which retains the park pawl anchor shaft in the automatic transmission could be missing or not properly staked in its bore, potentially allowing the shaft to move out of position and preventing the transmission from being placed in the Park position. If this occurs and the parking brake is not applied, the vehicle may roll away. Dealers will install a bracket to ensure that the park pawl anchor shaft is retained in the proper position.

On certain Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 vehicles equipped with NP246 transfer case, the vehicle's Totally Integrated Power Module contains an incorrect calibration that could potentially result in inadvertent transfer case default to Neutral.
