Pricing for 2007 Mazdaspeed3 announced

Markham, Ontario - Mazda has announced that its 2007 Mazdaspeed3 will be available at dealerships across Canada in September, at a price of $30,995.

Based on the Mazda3 Sport hatchback, the Mazdaspeed3 uses a turbocharged and intercooled 2.3-litre four-cylinder direct-injection gasoline engine, also used in the Mazdaspeed6 and CX-7, that produces 263 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. A high-level torque management system improves linear handling, while extra body reinforcements and a sport-tuned suspension provide rigidity and handling capability. The Mazdaspeed3 also features six airbags, Xenon headlamps and Bose premium stereo.
