RM to hold classic car auction in Toronto later this month

Chatham, Ontario - Almost 400 classic cars, sports cars and muscle machines are expected to cross the auction block at RM's Toronto International Classic Car Auction on October 20 to 22. The event will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

Many of the cars will be offered without reserve. The highlight of the event is a 1940 V12 Lincoln Zephyr Cabriolet, one of only 350 built that year, and purchased and completely restored by the Eaton Car Collection. Other early entrants include a customized, 650-hp 1969 Dodge Hemi Charger, a hand-built 1937 Cord 812 Supercharged Phaeton, a 1963 Corvette split-window coupe, a 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne with 409 cid engine, and a 1955 Porsche 356 coupe that was stored for 25 years.

The auction begins with a public preview at noon on Friday, October 20, with the auction commencing at 3:00 p.m. that day. For more information, visit www.rmauctions.com.
