Honda Civic and Ford F-Series top model sales in November

Richmond Hill, Ontario - The Honda Civic topped both November and year-to-date car sales in Canada, while the Ford F-Series pickup led both for light trucks, according to industry analyst Dennis DesRosiers.

In order, the top ten car models sold in November 2006 were the Honda Civic, Mazda3, Toyota Corolla, Chevrolet Cobalt, Toyota Camry, Toyota Yaris, Ford Focus, Pontiac Pursuit, Pontiac G6 and Dodge Caliber.

Year-to-date to November 2006, the top ten car models were Honda Civic, Mazda3, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Yaris, Chevrolet Cobalt, Toyota Camry, Ford Focus, Pontiac Pursuit, Toyota Matrix and Chevrolet Impala.

In order, the top ten light trucks sold in November 2006 were the Ford F-Series, Dodge Caravan, Dodge Ram, GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Silverado, Ford Escape and Escape Hybrid, Honda CR-V, Chevrolet Uplander, Pontiac Montana SV6 and Chevrolet Equinox.

Year-to-date truck sales belonged to the Ford F-Series, Dodge Caravan, Dodge Ram, GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Silverado, Ford Escape and Escape Hybrid, Chevrolet Uplander, Pontiac Montana SV6, Honda CR-V and Ford Ranger.
