Lexus named National Founding Partner of Canadian Junior Golf Association

Markham, Ontario - Lexus and the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) have announced that the automaker has signed a multi-year deal with the association, becoming the CJGA's second national founding partner along with HSBC Bank Canada.

The partnership will result in the creation of the Lexus CJGA Skills Competition at each CJGA Junior Tour (ages 11-19) and Junior Linkster Tour (ages 5-12) event in 2007, with more than 80 tournaments. The competitions will include a long-drive contest and closest to the pin shootout.

Lexus will also become the official vehicle supplier to the CJGA and will provide the association with a fleet of vehicles to be used by traveling tournament staff during the summer months.
