Toronto, Ontario - The 2008 Performance World Custom Car & Truck Show will be presented on March 14, 15 and 16 in the Toronto area, featuring displays of customized and antique vehicles and a live "hot-rod build".
Throughout the event, a team of builders from Great North Hot Rods and Dream Driven Street Machines will put together a 1932 Ford roadster. During the build, the team will interact with spectators, answering questions on the build and helping with any problems that visitors may have with their own vehicles. The team is scheduled to finish the rolling chassis on Friday, assemble the body and exhaust and fit the motor and transmission on Saturday, and wire and start the car on Sunday.
Other features at the show include a 1967 Camaro documented by Hot Rod magazine as the "World's Fastest Street Legal Car", a pair of customized 1960s Lincolns built by Michigan shop Mobsteel, a pinstriping demonstration, Raceway Alley and DarkNights Auto Salon tuner exhibition.
