- Sport Package and new 18-inch tire and wheel package offered for G35x all-wheel drive model
- Revised Technology and Navigation packages
- Standard XM Satellite Radio
- Available iPod interface and Driver's Audio Stage
- Exterior colour: Desert Platinum added

Having received a major redesign for 2007, the Infiniti G35 sedan receives trim changes for 2008, including the first-ever offering of a sport package for the all-wheel drive model.

The G35 uses a 3.5-litre V6 and comes with five-speed automatic transmission or, in the G35 Sport M6, with six-speed manual transmission. The G35 models are rear-wheel drive, while the G35x uses an all-wheel drive system.

Features on the G35 include 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, Xenon headlamps, fog lamps, LED taillights, heated mirrors, speed-sensing flat-blade wipers, Intelligent Key with pushbutton ignition, locking trunk pass-through, electroluminescent gauges, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, Infiniti Controller with seven-inch colour display, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, heated leather seats with eight-way driver and four-way passenger power adjustment, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary jack and XM Satellite Radio, and tire pressure monitoring system.

The G35 Sport M6 adds 18-inch alloy wheels with summer performance tires, viscous limited-slip rear differential, larger brake rotors, unique front fascia and side sills, aluminum pedals, power sunroof, power tilt and telescopic sport steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, garage door opener, Bluetooth hands-free telephone system, sport seats with eight-way power passenger adjustment, premium six-CD stereo with Driver's Audio Stage and iPod interface, and driver's position memory.

The G35x builds on the G35 and adds automatic headlamps, dual-zone automatic climate control, eight-way power passenger seat and six-CD stereo.

The G35x Sport adds 18-inch alloy wheels, unique front fascia and sills, aluminum pedals, sport seats, and sport steering wheel with magnesium shift paddles.

Although it's Infiniti's entry-level offering, the G35 is a viable contender in its segment and handles itself very well against its Japanese, German and domestic rivals. The new Sport package on the all-wheel drive model will further boost its image with those who like sporty performance with all four wheels handling the task.
