2010 Porsche 911 Turbo
The 2010 911 Turbo features an all-new 3.8-litre bi-turbo direct injection flat-six that makes 500 horsepower, 20 more than its predecessor, reports contributor, Peter Bleakney. “It shaves 10 seconds off the previous car’s Nurburgring lap time,” he says.

2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS
Although it’s the middle child of the Cayenne family, the GTS gives nothing up to the pricier turbocharged models in terms of visual impact or handling prowess, says contributor Haney Louka. Its 405-horsepower V8 is no slouch either, he says

2010 Porsche Panamera
With room for four adults and a rear hatch for easy access to its roomy cargo area, the 2010 Porsche Panamera “brings four-door sedan practicality to a brand known almost exclusively for high-performance sports cars,” says Senior Editor, Paul Williams.

2009 Porsche Boxster PDK
On a 2,600-kilometre drive from Vancouver to Winnipeg, author Michael Clark was impressed with the Boxster PDK’s easy-to-use steering wheel shifters, fast-opening three-layer power ragtop, nifty flip-top door storage pockets, and dual trunks, but didn’t like its dash-mounted swing-out cupholders.

Porsche Cayenne, 2003-2009
The Cayenne's reliability has been below average, according to Consumer Reports. Contributing Editor Chris Chase recommends purchasing one through Porsche’s certified pre-owned program and/or finding one that comes with maintenance records and some of the original factory warranty left.

Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid prototype
Prior to the introduction of the next generation Cayenne and a new Cayenne S Hybrid, Porsche is showing off a current generation Cayenne S Hybrid prototype with the company’s all-new hybrid powertrain. Editor-in-chief, Greg Wilson, reports from Los Angeles.

2009 Porsche Cayman S PDK
With its seven-speed, twin-clutch sequential PDK gearbox, the Cayman S accelerates faster than with the standard manual transmission, says Contributing Editor, Chris Chase, but he didn’t like the “backwards” manual shift operation.

2009 Porsche Cayenne V6
It may not be the fire-breathing Turbo S, but the V6 Porsche Cayenne is great to drive, reports Assistant Editor Jil McIntosh. But while it’s sporty, opt for the automatic transmission, she recommends.

2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS Tiptronic
The Cayenne GTS may be a tall, roomy crossover vehicle, but the emphasis is still on the driving experience, says Contributing Editor Chris Chase. The GTS’ 4.8-litre V8 offers 405 horsepower, 20 more than the Cayenne S, he notes.
