The Smart Fortwo Passion model features such niceties as heated front seats, paddle shifters, and a convertible roof with retractable sunshade. But the engine isn’t accessible and there’s no spare tire, just an inflation kit, says columnist Michael Clark.

The Brabus package adds an extra hit of style, greatly improved handling and $3,650 to the bottom line of the Smart Fortwo, reports contributor Peter Bleakney. “The Brabus Fortwo is actually fun to toss into the corners,” he says.

Smart Fortwo, 2005-2006
I guess bringing this tiny car to Canada was a "smart" idea after all. Naturally, there were many skeptics who felt this diminutive car wouldn't fly in Canada's marketplace. There were doubts about its crashworthiness, what with all the large SUVs the Fortwo would share our roads with.
