Subaru announces lower pricing for 2009 Tribeca

Toronto, Ontario – Subaru has announced that, one year after the redesigned Tribeca was introduced, the 2009 model is on sale with a starting price of $39,995, a savings of $2,000 over the 2008 model.

The 2009 Tribeca is offered as the five-passenger Tribeca, the seven-passenger Tribeca Limited Package with leather interior, and the seven-passenger Tribeca Premier package, which adds navigation system and rear-seat DVD entertainment.

The Tribeca is priced at $39,995; the Limited is priced at $45,195, the same as the 2008 edition, while the Premier Package, at $48,195, has decreased $4,300 from the 2008 model.

“The new-generation Tribeca has set new sales records almost every month since its introduction, thanks to the enhanced features and striking new design,” said Katsuhiro Yokoyama, president and CEO of Subaru Canada Inc. “The 2009 version builds on that momentum by retaining the qualities consumers appreciate, and adding an extra level of the luxurious appointments that are the hallmark of SUVs in this segment, all at very aggressive prices.”
