Oakville, Ontario - The first customers in Canada to drive the all-new Ford Flex, built at the company’s Oakville Assembly Complex in Ontario, received their vehicles this week.
Paul Hird, Ronald Gruber and Carolyn Cross-Gagnon took delivery of their new Flex crossovers from dealerships in Ontario. Kennedy Ford Sales in Oakville delivered the vehicles to Hird and Cross-Gagnon, while Gruber received his Flex from Airport Ford Lincoln Sales in Hamilton.
“I’m an Oakville business owner and Ford is based in Oakville, so I wanted to deal with Ford,” said Paul Hird, who owns Corbett’s Source for Sports in Oakville. “As soon as I saw the Ford Flex, I thought it looked great. It has a nice ride and lots of space in the back, too.”
The Flex is built alongside the Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX at the company’s plant in Oakville, west of Toronto.
