Saratoga Springs, New York - The Saratoga Automobile Museum in New York has announced it will celebrate General Motors’ centennial with a focus on Cadillac and a display of historic vehicles on loan from General Motors Heritage Collection from July 27 through November 2.

This Saturday, the Museum will host a preview of the exhibit at its annual Summer Gala, which will feature James E. Taylor, General Manager of the Cadillac Motor Division, as the event’s Honourary Chairman. Ed Welburn, Vice President, General Motors Global Design, will speak about the past, present and future of GM car styling.

The displays will include a replica of the first Cadillac, a 1902 single-cylinder model; a 1920 Model 59 sedan with custom coachwork designed by Harley Earl; a 1931 Cadillac V16 Touring Car; a 1951 Cadillac Series 61 as raced by Briggs Cunningham at Le Mans; a 1959 Eldorado; the 1976 “Last Convertible” Eldorado; and the 2003 Cadillac Sixteen concept car.

Also on display will be CadZZilla, a customized 1948 Cadillac belonging to Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, which will be shown throughout the entire run of the exhibit.
