Mississauga, Ontario - Porsche has announced new limited-edition Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2 and Porsche Cayman S Sport models that will be available in Canada in October. There will be 500 Boxster S models and 700 Cayman S models worldwide, each one with a glovebox plaque bearing its number.

The Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2 will retail for $85,500, while the Cayman S Sport will be $89,100. A range of standard equipment, including an eight-horsepower increase to 303 hp from the 3.4-litre engine, will set the models apart from the standard versions.

The Cayman S Sport’s appearance emulates that of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, including GT3 RS standard green or orange exterior colour, with black rims, exterior mirrors, air intake grilles and interior design package, plus model designation on the sides of the car. The Cayman S Sport will also be available in black, red, yellow, white or silver. Performance upgrades include Porsche Active Suspension Management, 10 mm lower suspension, and 19-inch SportDesign wheels.

The Boxster S Porsche Design Edition 2 is identified by its Carrara White exterior and white 19-inch SportDesign wheels, side air intakes, centre console and instrument dials, along with grey exterior stripes, black leather upholstery and stone grey convertible top. The model also includes a matching men’s wristwatch from the Porsche Design Dashboard Collection, designed in conjunction with the car.
