Mercedes-Benz prices unchanged for 2009

Toronto, Ontario - Mercedes-Benz Canada has announced that it will include additional no-charge equipment on its 2009 models, but will keep pricing nearly identical to the previous model year. Prices will be virtually unchanged on the E-, CLK-, S-, CL-, R-, M-, GL- and G-Class models.

For 2009, the E-Class will be offered solely in a special Avantgarde Edition that features standard no-charge sport and premium packages and adds additional content value ranging from $5,250 to over $10,500, depending on the model selected. Pricing remains consistent with 2008 levels, starting at $65,800 for the E300 4Matic and rising to $121,100 for the E63 AMG.

Other changes include a new CLK-Class with AMG Edition styling package, additional S-Class features including standard technology package on the S600 and S65 AMG, a slight decrease in CL-Class pricing, and the all-new BlueTEC six-cylinder clean diesel engine on SUV models.
