Special BMW announced for Neiman Marcus

Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey - BMW has announced that it will offer a limited edition of its all-new 2009 7 Series, designed by its team at BMW Individual and based on a 750Li, exclusively through the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. The U.S. department store’s Christmas catalogue will offer just 31 of the personalized models, in honour of the 7 Series’ 31st anniversary.

Buyers who order the car through the catalogue will be able to purchase the 7 Series from October 16, before the vehicle’s North American preview at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, and before its 2009 launch date.

The car, at US$160,000, includes a European driving experience along the French Riviera. Buyers will be able to take delivery of the automobiles from BMW Welt in Munich in April 2009, and then set off on a multi-city vacation in the south of France. Upon completion of the trip, the car will be shipped back to the United States.
